It is 3 years old and the soap dispenser broke. I used it probably 1 to 2 times a week. I dont use it at all now. The LG repairman saidjust throw the soap tablet in and that does not work. I am having to replace the dishwasher.

The last LG appliance I will ever buy

I bought this product approximately 5 years ago. I am replacing it this month. That will make this the shortest-lived dishwasher I have ever experienced. By the end of its life not only would the dishwasher not drain it wasnt clogged but it seems the control board was dying as well. To use the dishwasher usually meant flipping the breaker for the circuit on which it was attached to reset the electronics. Looking online it seems I am not the only person with the problem with the electronics. When the dishwasher worked it worked fine. It was silent and cleaned the dishes well and I liked the three trays and ability to move the glasses tray up and down to accommodate larger items in either the bottom or middle trays. But none of that matters if the dishwasher does not last. I would not buy another.

The first time I ran this dishwasher I opened it up three times because I couldnt figure out why it hadnt started. It had started it was just that quiet. Its amazing to me that something like this can run and I can be standing right next to it and not even know it. But thats this dishwasher. I love the upper shelf I love the adjustable second shelf and it cleans like a dream. But back to being quiet. I was standing next to it talking to a friend in my kitchen and they asked if they should start the dishwasher. They couldnt believe it when I said it was already running I may have won a convert.

Sleek looking lots of features ample room for dishes but randomly decides when it wants to turn on and off. Sometimes it works fine other times it doesnt respond for weeks or months at a time.

I bought this 3 years ago for a deep discount as a last year leftover. Im so thrilled with it. Hubby thought it was broken it is so quiet. I red did .y entire kitchen ripped out all the wallsfloor ceilingand all new appliances but I loved this so much its the only thing I kept from the old kitchen. Had a bit of rust on top and bottom rack and LG replaced free of charge. Had a crack on my control panel and the Lowes warranty replaced at no charge. Best dishwasher Ive ever had Great customer service both LG and Lowes.
